The Calgary Artists' Society limits the size of its membership to about fifty artists. Membership applications are accepted on an on-going basis, and when vacancies arise, new members are chosen through a jury process.
The jury process is done by a guest artist who is not a member of the CAS.
Applicants will be required to submit 4 to 5 framed pieces for jurying. A non-refundable jury fee will apply, and each applicant will receive a summary of the juror's critique.
Individual applicants will be advised of the date, time and place to submit their artwork, as well as the amount of the fee.
Applicants accepted for membership must pay membership dues of $75.00 upon admission to the Society.

PLEASE NOTE that at this time, CAS is at full membership and therefore unable to offer new membership opportunities. We welcome applications on an ongoing basis and retain them in the event that openings arise. This allows for direct communication with artists wishing to become members of CAS.
